AT&T still home to majority of U.S. iPhone owners, report says

Verizon Wireless and Sprint have yet to knock AT&T off of its throne as the most prominent iPhone carrier in the United States. According to new data from Localytics, 56% of iPhone 4S owners are on AT&T, 32% are Verizon Wireless subscribers and just 12% are on Sprint. “Looking at the iPhone 4 distribution as a comparison, Sprint seems to have eroded more of Verizon’s market share than AT&T’s ? of the previous generation handset, 60% are on AT&T versus 40% on Verizon,” Localytics explained in its report.
